Why would that be a concern? Last time I checked being Muslim was indication of someone's religious faith. I wouldn't have an issue if a relative married a Christian, Jew or Muslim as long as they were a good person.

No wouldn't be too concerned. Now if they were a Trump supporter I would object!

Race only matters if you are a racist. Or are you claiming that an otherwise perfect match wouldn't if the colour of her skin wasn't right? Religion on the other hand really does influence who you are, and clearly an otherwise good match could be spoiled if each approached faith very differently.

The issue of which religion the children would have is the biggest to me. They might get families to accept a civil marriage, or marriage in one faith rather than the other, but grandchildren would be a sticking point.

You shouldn't

You only need to worry if you're a racist

This whole Muslim thing is getting way out of hand. They are using Muslim faith to scare us about terrorism. I would only be worried if my relative married an extremist, doesn't matter which religion. I mean, look at the KKK they were basically extremist Christians.

I would not be worried at all. I have many family members who are muslim and they are not different from my other family members. We all love each other and respect each other and that is what matter right?

A little over a quarter of respondents did not reject the assertion that Australia's counter-terrorism policies should focus exclusively on Muslims.

It’s important that Muslim women understand the value of respect for men, especially Muslim men. In Islam, men are taught from a young age that they are supposed to be the bread-winners and caretakers of their families.

If you have taken the time to get to know someone why would you not rely on that rather than bias media? People are people are there are just as many bad Christians in the world as there are any other religion. We are not here to judge but love.

Religiously, a Muslim man is allowed to marry a non-Muslim woman of another monotheist faith, which includes Christianity and Judaism, with no obligation for the woman to convert. However, if he wishes to marry a woman who does not belong to any of the abrahamic faiths, she must convert to Islam.

The only thing more difficult than translating thoughts to words is translating feelings to words. So, a lot of Muslim men and women go through their marriages with very little communication and never really knowing what the other person is thinking.

Among conservative or progressive individuals, people of different age, education and country of birth – there was an association between someone's level of knowledge about Islam and their prejudice against Muslims.

Well in many cases it's not just a mixed faith marriage but also a mixed cultural marriage too. In general this is usually a one way type relationship in that Muslim women will generally only marry Muslim men as prescribed in the Qur'an so that is what I will focus on here.

Not at all. Religion does not define who a person is or how they treat another person.
