I don't have Obamacare but I think if congress wants to repeal it, they should give up their healthcare that's payed for by our taxes. You can't have this everyone for themselves attitude while receiving healthcare partly from the people who you want to see go without healthcares taxes. Fair is fair so Turtle Man, repeal YOUR healthcare package while you're at it.

The Trump voter will be hit the hardest when it is repealed and goes unreplaced for several years. Thousands of them will die from lack of coverage. They will be victims of their own votes.

Obamacare does need some tweaks however did people not realize this also involves Medicare? What about our senior citizens! That's why you don't need to repeal it fix it!

Fix, yes. Repeal, never. Stand strong and do the right thing when it comes to universal healthcare Obamacare/ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security! The GOP could care less about the majority of Americans who rely and depend upon all of these to survive!

Media totally eliminated Bernie Sanders's comments!!! His were the most important of all!!! Sanders noted that during the election campaign Donald Trump repeatedly stated that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security would not be cut!!! Sanders wants Trump to stand behind his words. If he does not, Trump was just lying to appeal to voters he had no intention of protecting.

Rip away the medical care and the programs to help the underprivileged! It's the republican way! Talk about schemes! They are consistently hell bent on killing off the 98% and/or turning them into their slaves. Yay! Go 1% (SMH)

For such a supposedly progressive, great country I just don't understand why America has such a problem with health care! So many countries have health care that covers absolutely every citizen and no one can be turned away no matter what health issues they have. Why is it such a problem for the USA?

As one of the 20 million people who will lose her health care, I've got to say that anyone who doesn't believe in universal health care for all in the richest country on earth is an idiot. Even Castro made sure his people had health care. The problem with ACA is that it is Romneycare-it was a compromise to pass anything. There should have been something to prevent insurance companies from jacking up premiums to make up for having to insure people with pre-existing conditions. If your premium went up blame your insurance company not Obama. Many people who will not be insured now have serious illnesses or will develop them. Tens of thousands, maybe millions of Americans, will die thanks to the cruelty and heartlessness of conservatives who only represent the ultra-wealthy. Kudos to Schumer for saying this.

Here's a novel idea: How about fixing the parts of the plan that need fixing? Try doing something worthwhile. Try legislating for a change. Try thinking about the people who elected you and sent you to Washington to do your job. Try being adults. Stop the bombastic tweeting and blaming. Start doing what you get paid to do. Or get the hell out.

And if you have a pre-existing condition, too bad for you and me...My"private" insurance can and probably will cancel me, so thanks for voting for these cretins!! I can just go die somewhere.

When the most important issue right now is healthcare and the Democrats are giving important information on how repealing this law involves Medicare, Medicaid and other components to interrupt their press conference while they are trying to reach the American people is a wrong move. The law just needs to be fixed not repealed. There will be more costs and time involved in repealing than there would be to repair.

phil Thompson.....fear mongering left...really? What rock have you been hiding under for the past 8 years: Obama is coming for your guns!, The ACA is a job killer!, Democrats are waging a war on Christman!, ....I bet you were one of those Trumpanzees that shelled out good money for a RED HAT MADE IN CHINA. you have been duped by a conman and are afraid to face reality......to quote your"SUPREME LEADER"......sad.

I worked all my life and already paid for my insurance and into social security so the republicans need to keep their hands off of it...

I'd just like to say that in DC the best platinum ACA plan is $363. It's nearly equal in coverage to my former employer based plan that was over $800 per month. There are places where ACA is an amazing value.

The height of idiocy.......if they have nothing to replace it ... don't repeal it.....these people are clearly lacking in humanitarian values....

If you want to literally voice your opinion, call Paul Ryan's office @ (202)225-0600. It's a recording and maybe he doesn't even listen, but everything is necessary to push back. The power they obtained in this election is just what they wanted to destroy the social fabric that affects the most vulnerable. The GOP has pushed to privatize everything - SS, Medicare, prisons, schools and the list goes on!

That's the way they hope it would be. Them and the insurance companies can make bigger bank rolls, while they and banks foreclose on people's homes. Then, they can redicule the very people for having a need of government help. Vicious cycle. The republiCONS love it because it boosters their low self-esteem when they look down everyone that have need.
