Use clay, recycled materials, paper mache etc. If your feelings are something that you want to let go of, put your sculpture somewhere where you will see it everyday. When you feel ready to let go of those feelings, rip it up, stomp on it, burn it, throw it in the trash…what ever you like!

I want to draw, and write, but it's all so disgustingly bad that I give up.

Poetry. Or just plain blogging, actually.

I sadly don't put it down on paper nearly as much as I should, but I've got a massively active imagination. I don't express it generally because I assume people will think I'm nucking futs, but it's always going on.

Combat. I just try to make it art. Everything should be like a dance in fighting.

I do graphical design, sometimes I do stuff for money other times I just spend 10 hours making something random for fun. Been doing it for something like 5 years and I've gotten pretty good at it.

A way that I sort of 'express myself' in a way is I will draw pictures that mean something to me and give them to people. That way the pictures have some sort of emotional meaning that they would otherwise not have.

I like poetry. its like painting a picture with words. I'm hopeless at drawing unless you like stick figures!

Music. For some reason I can relate everything I have done in life to music. I can go back to any moment by just putting on the right song.

Expressing Yourself Through the Arts involves arts-based activities that authentically address the interests of students, their culture, and their community. Activities can take many forms, including a drawing or collage, a personal essay or poem, dancing, the spoken word, or singing.

Anything you can do to express yourself is a form of art. That's why I love my craft so much. I always wanted to play other artists. If I can't play an instrument, then I want to play a character that can. There is an artist behind everything, and I think that's beautiful.

I love to body paint. Take off all your clothes let go and make art with your body. It is very relaxing and exciting at the same time.

First, I'll digress to say that, for me at least, art is only partly about expressing myself, and even then not necessarily in the way people think. That is, I rarely create art because I feel sad (happy, angry, etc) and need an outlet. I'm sure the process is cathartic to me on many levels, but I'm not simply trying to belch out my feelings.

The motivation to draw actually comes naturally to human beings. Give a toddler a crayon and he or she will naturally start to scribble!

The creative arts, (drawing, painting, sculpture, drama, dance, music, etc…) are not only a great way to create something beautiful, but also a fun and inspiring way to relieve stress and enhance creativity. Accessing the arts at any age is a simple way to maintain or develop skills relating to problem-solving, teamwork, communication and healthy coping.

Some people say that one can only be one’s self if they are in nature. It is a known fact that nature has healing powers. According to the express yourself quotes, nature brings out the best in people, allowing them to harness their true self.
