A feminist is someone who's fighting for equal rights. I'd consider a transgender a woman. It may have been artificially done but she has the rights of a woman.

Women need feminism to safeguard the rights they already have and those inequalities still not fought. They're fighting for society to recognize them and give them the same opportunities as men.

Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to such opportunities for men.

We need to move towards a society where men are not afraid to be vulnerable and women are allowed to be independent; a society where being male or female has no impact on how a person lives their life; a society where the pressure is off and everyone can be themselves.

Feminism is the belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. Feminist activism is the struggle for that equality.

A person who supports equality between the sexes. Feminists can be women, men, and transpeople. Feminists are black, white, and everything in between. Feminists are straight, gay, and bisexual. Feminists understand that inequality effects everyone.

I'd consider a transgender a feminist. They're also fighting for equal rights. They even have it harder because they're discriminated at every turn.

From what I know, feminists fight for women's rights and gender equality. They seek to have the same recognition and opportunities as men.

A feminist is a person, most likely a female herself, who fights for equality as women are seen as the weaker sex. A feminist is not a man-hater, which is what some people insist they are, though they are very 'pro-girl.'

Women want equality. It stems from society being patriarchal. Women need to be acknowledged and recognized.

Fighting for equal rights has always been the battle cry of feminists. They feel that women need to be in the same level as men.

They preach the importance of women in this society and their contribution to the world. They also understand the handicap of being a woman in a man's world, and how a woman should be treated equally as a man would.
