Though he didn't leave a fortune to people in his village but he did left some for his relative that do visit the village every year and give a little support to locals, his charity didn't die.

Antonino Fernandez, who was born in poverty in the Spanish village of Cerezales del Condado in 1917, apparently didn’t forget his roots after emigrating to Mexico to make his beer fortune. The mogul was reported to have left each of the 80 people in the village $3.36 million in his will prior to his death in August at the age of 99.

Apparently this was just a rumour...

Rather than it going to people in the village, Mr Fernandez, who had no children of his own, actually left a huge part of his fortune to the descendants of his siblings. As one child of 13, the Corona founder had a large number of nieces and nephews, and so did help to make a large number of them rich.

THE billionaire founder of Corona beer has reportedly made his entire home village millionaires in his will. Antonino Fernandez, who was born in the Spanish village of Cerezales del Condado in 1917, emigrated to Mexico to make his fortune but clearly hasn’t forgotten his roots.

I think he has left the village care, and that might be enough? I mean he made it out to become a rich man, and he did come back to help a little, and now he is dead why would we still care so much? His story definitely left us something, and if it's also inspiring for people in the village, I'm sure it's a great gift too!
