The upshot? This is a great place for a quick — maybe even healthy — lunch, whether you’re gay or straight or just kind of cock-eyed. As for the vegan aspect, which is so often overlooked in Las Vegas: The desserts need work, but the Tree of Life is the kind of food that makes life worth living.

I've tried vegan and gluten free deserts. The cakes are generally a different texture or consistency but have a unique taste. I advise to going to a bakery that specializes in vegan deserts vs. a standard bakery offering one or two deserts.

i'm unimpressed with RFD in general. for really good vegan desserts, you should try the cucpcakes at golden mean vegan! though it's next door to huckleberry, so that would be difficult to resist.
