Half of the time you get sick from them. You're just better off without them...

My brother got autism from one.

All of the big anti-vaccine campaigns have absolutely no credibility. The number of people receiving vaccines and the number of alleged issues arising from having them speak for themselves.

Although vaccines might have side effects, it saves lives.

Smallpox no longer exists for a reason.

Although vaccines may not be detrimental to some children, others are greatly affected such as my brother. He also was diagnosed with severe autism due to going backwards mentally after his 6 month immunizations.

At present, intelligent people do not have their children vaccinated, nor does the law now compel them to. The result is not, as the Jennerians prophesied, the extermination of the human race by smallpox; on the contrary, more people are now killed by vaccination than by smallpox.

Vaccines could be a good thing if we just took the time to do the research. You cannot create a vaccine and administer it across multiple ethnic platforms. They are not thoroughly testing the vaccines thoroughly before they bring them to market. It should be illegal to fast track a vaccine approval without years of testing. The give the same vaccine to every race, every gender, every age. How is that being responsible? Why in 2016 have we not found a way to store and administer vaccines without mercury? This is pure neglect and greed on behalf of the pharmaceutical companies. Even if the vaccine turns out bad and kills people there is nothing that can be done to the company that made it. They are protected by laws and the government. While I do agree some vaccines are good, we do not need a vaccine for everything. Some times you just need to be sick and build up our own antibodies.

Childhood vaccines are one of the great triumphs of modern medicine. Indeed, parents whose children are vaccinated no longer have to worry about their child's death or disability from whooping cough, polio, diphtheria, hepatitis, or a host of other infections.

Margarets no one is denying vaccines are good but they way the US is going about administering them is not good. Our kids get almost double the shots other developed nations give their kids. New vaccines are popping up everyday without much research being done. Not to mention the autism rate in the US is going off the charts. There has to be a connection.

The world greets newborn babies by bombarding them with everything from dust to disease-causing microbes. Babies can deftly parry exposures to certain harmful substances, thanks to antibodies passed onto them in the womb. But this kind of inherited immunity is short-lived, so a child must develop her own immune system response to combat life-threatening diseases. That’s where vaccines come into the picture
