For a split second I thought Gatlin had it and then a bolt of lightening came out of no where. It is amazing how after all these years he still makes every race look easy. He may have too more Olympics that he could compete in.

Very cool. The commentator that bashed the twins for holding hands across the finish line in the marathon should take note of this. It's OK to be happy!

This is the best kind of finish you can have. What a way to finish a semi-final finish with both the first and second placers smiling at each other, even before they have breasted the tape?

This was the highlight of the night. Them just smiling at each other while running across the finish line was great. I couldn't stop smiling.

This is what I mean when I said that most of the athletes in this olympics have been acting more mature than a good chunk of the politicians in the US.

Only thing missing is them holding hands and skipping across the finish line.

The Jamaican ran the 200 in 19.78 seconds to easily win his third straight Olympic title in the event, adding to gold from Beijing and London. It also brings his career gold medal tally to eight, including his 100 victory on Sunday. De Grasse, from Markham, Ont., comfortably took silver with a time of 20.02, a second Olympic medal to pair with his 100 bronze.

How can he not be. To know you are the fastest human alive by a long margin must feel great. I would like to see how fast he could go if something was really chasing him and he had to run at full might. Possibly the greatest human athlete to ever live.

RIO de JANEIRO — When Usain Bolt crossed the finish line just two-hundredths of a second ahead of his rival and pal Andre De Grasse, they both had huge smiles on their faces. It was a sports photo for the ages.

If I had wings like this guy I would be all smiles also.

Usain Bolt was cruising to another 200-meter victory Wednesday night in the race's third semifinal heat when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye that he never expected.
Canadian Andre de Grasse was actually challenging him, gaining ground in the final stretch. He was even staring Bolt down, as he pulled within 0.02 seconds for a photo finish.

He didn’t even have the heart to make it look like he was trying.

Usain Bolt was all smiles as he advanced to the 200m final with the fastest time of the year and is now one win from his eighth Olympic gold.

Images of the Jamaican track superstar Bolt smiling while sprinting toward the finish line ahead of the pack have become fodder for online memes. One Twitter user imagined Bolt saying, “Had you shook with that slow start, didn’t I?” Another said it illustrated the feeling “when you write a provocative tweet and then sign off.”

Usain Bolt once again ran past his competitors in the 100m race at the Rio 2016 Olympics to bag a staggering third straight gold in the sprint event at the Olympics.

Bolt never seems to let me down. He always gives you a good show but we all know he could win all of these races by alot if he really wanted. I have yet to see him be really challenged in his career. What an amazing person.

Bolt still won by a margin of 0.02, but the competitive spirit and camaraderie was on full display. Twitter certainly took note of the two exchanging looks and smiles as they crossed the finish line.
