Trump is very controversial and that is what this country needs. Someone who is not just going to say yes to everything the big money guys want.

QUOTE:"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Calling Trump’s comments “controversial” is lazy and dangerous. It treats racial and religious intolerance as just a quirk of Republican politics. It normalizes that intolerance, turning it into an unremarkable and routine partisan disagreement. It lets Trump’s defenders spin his comments as just evidence of his “tough” stance on immigration or border security. And it makes it easier for Trump to reinvent himself as a serious “presidential” candidate as he prepares for the general election.

Some times when he makes a strong statement some people see it as controversial. Donald Trump called Monday for a"total shutdown" on Muslims entering the U.S."until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on" with the war against ISIS.

If by controversial you mean he does not go along with the status quo? Yes he is controversial and so am I. Questioning the system and pointing out how unfair and unjust it is should not make you controversial. That is how backwards the country has become that someone who talks about change for the better is considered to be controversial. We must change how we label people in this world.

The real hero here is the actual speechwriter for the Trumps. He or she knew exactly what they were doing. Exposing this camp for their dishonesty, hypocrisy, lack of poise, lack of humility — lack of ability to come up with words that truly move the American people, and unite them, as Michelle Obama did in 2008. This speech writer did the right thing, though they will surely be crucified for it.

I’ve seen thousands of resumes. I’ve seen words similar to those on several resumes. This was from 1987-2006 before Obama. So I’d hardly say that it was plagiarism. It’s just something that is commonly expressed in those simple words and phrases.

Trump has always been like this and he is never going to change."The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. Thank you. It's true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said when he launched his bid for the presidency at Trump Tower in New York in June 2015.

It all depends on what you consider controversial. Most of his proposals are not controversial to a large number of people. Also, don’t forget that Donald Trump is a very good negotiator. Most politicians are always willing to change their vote if offered the right bribe - er, I mean incentive. Trump has worked with most of them before and will know who will bend with the right “incentive”. As President, he would be in a great position to hold out the right carrot for a Senator or Congressmen.

On foreign affairs"Hey, I'm not saying they're stupid … I like China. I just sold an apartment for $15 million dollars to somebody from China. Am I supposed to dislike 'em?" Trump said when he announced his bid for the presidency in June.

He sounds pretty good to me. I guess if I was a Hillary fan and I liked be lied to and treated like a little puppy, yes Trump would seem controversial to me. I am not one of those people so his views are very close to mine.

I will admit he is surrounding by controversy and has many controversial supporters but what candidate does not have that. He is by far the most honest candidate we have had since Ron Paul and although he does not have the same knowledge at least he gives you what he has.

He is very controversial and that might be what we need right now. He talks alot and does not have a filter it seems. I would rather him be this way than like the other nominee who lies all the time and will never say a straight forward statement in her life.

Controversial is a gross understatement. He attacks women, minorities the disabled, everyone who is not a rich white man. I still cant believe he got the nomination of the Republican party. It just shows how many like minded people there are in this country.

He speaks his mind. I don't know if that's saying much. At least you know where his head is at. Again, I'm not saying that's a good thing either.
