I just want to say I admire your commitment to your constituents even though I don't agree with your views...you showed up. I live in KY and we did not get 1 town hall by either of our senators (Paul and McConnell).

Thank you Senator Cotton for making yourself available to the constituents of NW Arkansas tonight. I am sorry that you had to face so much hate this evening. I want you to know you have my support and that I am proud to say, Tom Cotton is MY senator!

Gee, I'm shocked no one takes these dissenters seriously. Show some respect. To the Senator, to the people asking questions. Sit down, be quiet, wait your turn, ask your question. Civility. Integrity. Respect. Dying qualities in this age.

If you think cutting Social Security and Medicare, and cutting your Obama care is a good idea, then Senator Cotton is your man, along with Paul Ryan and Mitch Mcconnell. These guys have the ability to do an incredible amount of damage after the last election. You won't even know what hit you until it is too late.

You must stand your ground , these people complaining are not conservative republicans. Ignore them. I wouldn't have anymore of these events until they can be respectful and shut up and listen , not just scream at you.

Senator Cotton, thank you for holding the Town Hall. I appreciate you admitting climate change is a real issue and standing against the President's statement about the press being the enemy of the people. I don't feel that you had any substantial responses to most of the issues that were presented to you on healthcare, immigration, education, & the deficit. The part of the evening that sticks with me, and really gets under my skin, was your response to the data analyst from Fayetteville's question. (I'm paraphrasing)"Our government works by listening to the people of Arkansas, there are over 2000 people here, but there are 3 million people in Arkansasand making decisions based on what's best for all Arkansans." I'm reminded of the old adage about how important it is to give good customer service. (If you have one unhappy customer, you can count on them telling 10 people, and then telling 10 more people and so on) There may have only been 2,000 people at the town hall, but they represent tens of thousands of Arkanasans an we are not happy. Just to be clear, I wasn't able to attend the town hall meeting in Springdale, but I watched every minute of it and I am one of the 2, 998,000 Arkansans that does not support you. I am your constituent and I still don't feel that you are listening to all Arkansans. You have not convinced me that you are looking out for the best interest of all Arkansans.

Senator Cotton, as a Republican and being from the state of Kansas I want to commend the way you handled your townhall meeting in Springdale. You had a tough crowd and many folks there were not looking for answers that make common sense. In time, I hope that our country can find common ground for the good of all. The right wing may not be as vocal as the left wing but our vote counts just as much as any other and we are getting fed up with the direction that our country been on the last many years. We have had to deal with the radical left agenda and being force fed many things that we didn't like and were against our moral values. We spoke out in the voting booths all across this nation and things are different now. All of the unhappiness needs to be delt with in future elections if they can find the votes. You, sir, are not my Senator, but I stand behind you all the way!

Senator Cotton I was not able to attend, but watched streaming video. Thank you for showing up and responding to questions. I have to be honest. I did not vote for you, but your remark that you wanted to hear what all the people of AR felt, gave me some hope. Please keep listening. I will keep praying and trying to respectfully speak my truth.

You're performance tonight was abhorrent and you should be ashamed. You failed to address numerous questions about how you support the GOP agenda and the concerns of Arkansas residents. Tom Cotton, you do not represent me as an Arkansas resident and worker. With young generations having access to information at their fingertips, they have seen through your deception and will use that information at the polls to rid the system of GOP on all levels.

Hey Sen. Howdie-Doodie, look-a-like, what kind of insurance do you have? Why aren't you on trial for treason after your treasonous letter to Ayatollah Khamenei (that you needed Google Translate to write, making you sound like a 3rd grade Iranian)? Why aren't you interested in Russian espionage against the United States? Why are you such a sad excuse for a real person. You are filth. What kind of insurance do you and your family have? What kind of pension plan? Since you want most Americans to go without, we should know how you are set up.

This town hall is a tragedy! You are skirting every question. People would shut up if you would answer anything honestly!!! I sure hope no one is CCL there tonight!!!!

Senator, your comment about there being 3M others in this state that write to you, come see you, and come to other Town Halls - just curious where and when these other Town Halls are? I know that thousands in Central Arkansas, myself included, have been calling and writing to you to have a Town Hall in Little Rock for weeks. Also, when your staff doesn't open the door at the office, it's pretty difficult to"come see you" as you say. You work for ALL of us, Republicans, Independents - like myself, and Democrats, whether you like it or not. If you don't like it, then why are you in Washington"representing us"? You need to start listening to the Independents and Democrats with as much fervor as you listen to your Republican constituents and stop giving the politician's answer to everything. We want honest representation based on the things that are good for US, not for your career.

Apparently common courtesy and quiet integrity are no longer valued traits in this country. While many in attendance clearly had legitimate questions and concerns, it was obvious to anyone that some were there simply to disrupt the process and give the media something else negative to talk about.

I only caught part of it and I was outraged at what happened. Senator Cotton is one of the hardest working Senators and people were yelling at him to do his job. He does his job, not like the Democrats who have done nothing for 8+ years and continue to do nothing. I think that photo ID should be used to get in and the ID's scanned and recorded. Who paid for all the pre-printed signs too?

Senator Cotton, it is horrible the disrespect you were shown at the town hall meeting. Even people who disagree should be able to show respect and civility. Please know that you are supported and encouraged to stay the course in working with your peers in the Senate to at last accomplish much needed work for our country. Please sir, do not bow to these rabble rousers but do what you know is right in your heart. I was reminded as I watched of my behavior when my parents made me take medicine as a child. I didn't want to, I didn't want to, I didn't want to.......but once done, boy did I feel better. Once they begin to see the positive changes planned, they just might have a change of heart themselves. But, regardless, your base is behind you, supports you, and sincerely looks to the change that is imminent. God bless you and your peers, and God bless our president, and God bless the USA.

Senator I'm so very proud you are my Senator. I watched the town hall meeting tonight. Please believe that there are alot more of us out here that support you. They had no intention of listening to you, and I believe that they did not want anyone else to hear you. So please hang in there and be strong.

I see many on this thread are not from Arkansas, just here to make noise. The disrupters in this meeting are the New Democratic Party. They may never win another election. A disgusting display put on tonite.

Thank you for everything you do Senator Cotton! Do not listen to the loud, rude, uncivilized liberals. We need conservative values in this country. The MAJORITY is behind you!!

Sen Cotton: the Dept of Ed doesn't have"too much power," the mega-wealthy have too much power! That's why the unqualified DeVos makes people angry. Thanks for letting America clarify that for you.
