Only 10 companies control almost every large food and beverage brand in the world.
These companies — Nestlé, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Danone, General Mills, Kellogg's, Mars, Associated British Foods, and Mondelez — each employ thousands and make billions of dollars in revenue every year.https://www.businessinsider.com/10-companies-control-food-industry-2017-3?utm_content=buffer6070d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-bi

These companies are really making billions of revenue a year. Guess what? It's because of us--consumers.

Would you believe that there are only few companies that control everything that we buy?

All the more important it becomes to cook your own food and stop living on packaged food.... You cannot avoid them all, sure, but there are a lot of products you definitely don't need.

If people would start eating “real” food. Those companies would go out of business. I don’t eat anything on that list....

I personally don’t purchase things from these companies because I make most of my own food - better for you and you save money. When I need to buy something that one of these companies produces I go for a generic substitute - like instead of Quaker Oats I just get the store’s own label.
