Some of the planet’s most magnificent landscapes and wildlife habitat are protected within our U.S. national parks. If you think you can’t find a wild, less-traveled nature experience here, think again. Because we take a different approach. Our Expedition Leaders guide exclusive small groups to the most remote parts of America’s famed nature sanctuaries. We leave the crowds behind for spots that are secluded and close to wildlife. We stay at atmospheric lodges and small inns. The national parks have been called “America’s Best Idea.

I've been to Yellowstone Park which was amazing. I went camping with my girls troop. There are many species of birds that are exclusive to just that area. It was a nice experience.

You really must go. There are so many of our natural resources that only exist in our national parks because they are protected.

I watched a documentary on National Geographic featuring our National Parks. I had no idea there were so many large forest areas through the US.

In NZ we have some pretty awesome places, I'd love to come to the states to see how they stack up. But everything is bigger and better in America right?!

This unique tour explores the crown jewels of America's national parks system, whilst enjoying the comfort of its historic and unique lodges and upgraded hotels. Yosemite, Yellowstone, Death Valley and the Grand Canyon showcase some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the US and their expansive vistas and abundant wildlife have been attracting visitors for over 100 years. That's not to forget the lesser known but equally stunning USA national parks including Zion, Bryce Canyon and Arches. Some lodges that were built at the turn of the century to cater to this early wave of tourists are still operational in all their former glory and today they're more than just places to stay, they're pieces of history.

One thing I got to do after hearing about it as a"must" was the mule ride on Molokai, Hawaii. Theres an age limit, and it does go into a leper colony started by Father Damin. Educational, so grateful I got to experience it.

A portion of the planet's most radiant scenes and untamed life natural surroundings are secured inside our U.S. national parks. On the off chance that you think you can't locate a wild, less-voyaged nature encounter here, reconsider. Since we adopt an alternate strategy.

From rafting in Alaska to biking in Utah, nowhere does the great outdoors better than the US. So whether you are looking for a cosy cabin hideaway or a high-octane expedition, Jane Dunford and Sarah Turner have the low-down on the country's national parks.
