So let's talk sales and marketing - you've got an absolutely amazing product/service and need to sell it to the right audience? That's where the Hourglass Principle comes in.

The trick is for you as the salesperson to be able to relay the right and relevant information, essentially, to act as the middleman and"filter" in the middle.

This principle can also be applied to other areas of life as well

Being in the middle or central part of any sales deal is the ideal spot! This allows you to gain a competitive advantage over your competitors by your ability to sway or influence your potential customers

The Middle Man is basically what sells it. It can be a great product or service, but it will go unnoticed without the middle man. I am not a good salesman, I don't have that charm and charisma that it needs to sell things, but I have someone who does that for me. So I provide the service, and he basically sells it.
