I have never met anyone who got angry over piercings or tattoos - well, except maybe some parents screaming at their 14 year old daughter.

Every cool tattoo post I see, there's always people saying how stupid it is and how they'll regret it and blah blah blah. Maybe angry isn't the right word but they seem offended or something

Why do people get so mad at people about religion choice, Political opinion, Smoking. Sexual preference, even basic opinions. Because everyone wants to be right ; but in order for that to happen they feel the need to judge others as wrong.

I love when people say,"it will look bad when your old." Your going to look like a raisin, same as me! Move along, and leave me to my art

Why care that they care? I have tattoos and if anybody says anything, I shrug it off. Caring too much about what they say is the same thing as them caring too much about tattoos.

We use bows to wrap gifts, help us remember, and indicate femininity. Bow tattoos are growing in popularity. If you get one, consider the best place on your body and what bows symbolize.

When I first noticed the ascent of tattoos into the middle classes, which was gradual at first, I assumed that it was a political statement, a kind if identification with the marginalized. If criminals, for example, were really victims of society, then to imitate them was a kind of demonstration of solidarity with them.

Goes back to religion I feel. Most religions frown upon tattoos so society has adopted that same mentality.

It is the defiance people hate. Some people just like to walk around and do whatever they are suppose to do and never ruffle any feathers. Tattoos say I do what I want and I take risks. That scares normal people for some reason.

Even in the barbaric and immoral ancient Greek and Rome, the tattoo was considered"barbaric" and used primarily to mark slaves and criminals. It’s interesting, they promoted slavery and other forms of depravity – but felt tattoos were barbaric. What does that testify of today’s barbaric Christian tattooing craze?
