I think that it depends on where you work, and the clients that you work with.

Yes, it depends on the image and reputation that the company wants to uphold.

Tattoos can be distracting so I prefer they stayed covered up. I prefer to look crisp and professional at work.

It depends on your job and the company you work for. If you work for a conservative company then exposing your tattoos could be an issue.

I have nothing against body art but I prefer tattoos to be hidden. I work in a legal office and we need to maintain that professional polished look.

Some companies ask if you have tattoos and tell you straight up if they're okay with you exposing it or not. It all depends on the company and the nature of your work I guess.

Yes. I don't like to get distracted by someone's tattoos when I'm in a meeting. I like to maintain a very clean and professional appearance when I'm at work.

You can still be professional even if you have tattoos. I just find this discriminating that because I have tattoos means I can't do my job well.

I am fine with tattoos in the work place. I work in a creative field so it's an expression of who we are and management is totally fine with it.

They don't have to be. The company wouldn't hire you in the first place if they're against tattoos.

I agree with people here that it depends on the company you work for and your clients. Other companies are fine with having tattoos exposed.

Small tattoos are okay but if they're huge I prefer them to be covered up. You can always wear long sleeves so they're not that exposed.

My boss is fine with tattoos because he has them too. Our office isn't very strict about it.

If they're scary then they should be concealed. Some tattoos are better off covered.

It actually depends on your field of expertise. If you're clients are high end, you need to look very polished.

Technically, I require them to be covered if they're at work. It's not that I don't want any body art but they need to look professional.

I think they're fine because they hire you for your experience. That's what really matters.

It depends on your job. Some companies don't really care about those as long as you dress right and you do your job well.

If you're company and your clients are uptight conservatives then you definitely have to hide them.

Some companies don't like exposed tattoos. It's probably the nature of their business and clients that prevents them from doing so.
