Seriously? This is just getting ridiculous now. When first accused of cultural appropriation, he replied with ; “All who cry ‘cultural appropriation’ or whatever nonsense about any race of skin colour wearing their hair in a particular style or manner – funny how you don’t criticize women of colour for straightening their hair." Which is the perfect, and correct response. Now he agrees that it was insensitive, for using dreadlocks in his fashion show?

Cultural Appropriation? More PC Puke!

This whole PC thing is is being taken way too far, with absolutely no sign of slowing down. If designers are being accused of racism and cultural appropriation, and now need to apologise for using hairstyles, or other innocent and insignificant details for their pieces - which we end up following and wearing as trends- what next? Cultural appropriation is not real, get over it.

The famous counterargument for culture appropriation, which somehow doesn't count, is the fact that africans are more than welcome to have"white hair", yet, god forbid that a white person has"black hair"'? There are so many double standards in this new society of PC culture that we, unfortunately, find ourselves in , where only white people can be accused and found guilty of culture appropriation?? Culture appropriation does not exist.

Cultural Appropriation? More PC Puke!
Exactly! But people are falling for this PC crap, and a lot of people are actually living by it!

In the US they want to stop white people from doing Yoga and claiming it to be"Culture Appropriation".

I'm sorry, but are you fucking kidding me?

This is ridiculous? The worst part is that people are actually taking this seriously and are either feeling offended by or apologising for things that are completely innocent. Cultural appropriation allows people to call out"oppression" in cases that are nowhere near that nature, and trivialises the cases that actually are.

Some people are way too sensitive. Can't they appreciate the looks for what it is and stop giving it another meaning? It's fashion.

Dreadlocks is popular with people of all cultures. I don't think they should associate dreadlocks with a certain race or culture. Everyone has the right to get their hair done that way.

I would have respected him more if he stood by what he did and didn't apologize. Fashion is about clothing and styling. The issue would eventually die down anyway.

He caved in and apologized because of the pressure. He doesn't want anyone boycotting his brand. He'd lose a lot of money.

Why does everything have to be about race and cultural appropriation? People should get over it. They just cause unwanted controversy because they're too sensitive.

Dreadlocks isn't limited to a certain culture. People shouldn't be so narrow minded and associate them with a specific culture.

This is crazy. I don't see why this should even be an issue. They're making a mountain of a molehill.

People will always find something to say. He should have stood by what he did and didn't give in to the pressure.

Black people can do anything that white people do but white people can't do what black people do. It's just so f*cked up. Grow up people.

I don't see anything wrong with what he did. Models need to look different every season and they need to get noticed. This definitely got his brand noticed.
