In hindsight - I realize that every fairy tale I grew up reading was didactic. One of my favourites was Hansel & Gretel - proof that all that glitters isn't gold

Cinderella is my all time favourite. It taught me the importance of perseverance and patience and trusting that you will get your happy ending

I've always loved the Three Little Pigs when I was a kid. I learned that working hard does pay off. You can't just sit around all day and be lazy.

Today tall tales still support our creative abilities, giving captivated woods filled resting wonders, sly wolves and enchanting sovereigns. They may occur in otherworldly kingdoms far expelled from our own particular however these stories show us critical life lessons.

The big bad wolf just keeps popping back in my brain when I think of fairy tales. You can't trust anybody. That's what the wolf is about.
