Never reveal yourself too much. I learnt this, too, after a lot of personal experiences. Revealing yourself too much to someone makes you prone to getting hurt. Sharing or trusting too much doesn’t make you a humble human being it just makes you vulnerable.

Procrastination is one of the biggest mistakes I made and kept making. Postponing things to future, that indeed never came.

I think we are all guilty of that.

I think we can be vulnerable to a certain number of people. Those we trusts with our lives. This is definitely something that we should just share with anybody.

Education is much more important than comfort. Even I used to hate studying when I was in school. Even I used to bunk lectures in college and go somewhere with my friends to chill out but in the winter of my graduation year I had an epiphany that these things must not be my priorities. My priority must be my education because that’s what my parents pay huge sums of money for, that’s what is going to distinguish me from the rest of the world when I step out into the real world. If I screw up now, I’m screwing up my whole life.

I know what you mean! On hindsight, I know I could have done better in school.

I had to learn it the hard way but here's some -
1. Friends forever is a pure myth.
2. A honest enemy is always better than a fake friend.
3. Never share your problems with this world. People will be happy that you have those problems.

I agree with #2. I would prefer an enemy who is honest than a fake friend.

Overcoming depression takes a lot of nerve & time. But trust me you will defeat it. Depression, trauma, panic attacks, everything can be defeated. Don’t quit. Take therapy if you want. Take steps towards victory and a beautiful life ahead.

I agree! Seek help if you feel like you're drowning.
