A Bowie blockbuster (unintentional Gene Genie reference, happy coincidence) of the album chart could be achievable. Black Star and greatest hits.

Would love Bowie to topple Bieber. I like that Shawn Mendes song though. But . com eon , January is a low month. Heroes seems to be the one that's rising fastest on iTunes. Would be a fitting send off and its never been in Top 10

Honestly, any song on the charts now a days just suck. Especially if 3 of them are Justin's. Music is dying.

To recap, the past four weeks, through the current charts dated Jan. 23, have featured Adele and Bieber at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 (except for this week, where Bieber and Adele swap spots on the Hot 100). The pair also ranked at Nos. 1 and 2 for the charts dated Dec. 12 and 19 (then were interrupted for a frame when Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 2).

Justin Bieber makes U.K. chart history this week, becoming the first artist ever to occupy the entire top three on the U.K. singles chart. The Def Jam/Universal star continues at No. 1 on the Official Charts Company's new survey with"Love Yourself," holds at No. 2 with"Sorry," and climbs 4-3 with"What Do You Mean?” Adele started a seventh straight week atop the album chart with 25 (XL Recordings

Well we all knew he was talented and there was just time standing in his way. He has grown up and calmed down and focusing on his music. The results are proof he can be one of the greatest.

I think he was molded for this position and have people backing him to make sure he succeeds. All of his music sounds the same to me and I do not think he has changed we are just not getting the details like we used to.

This is my FAVORITE song!!!

[Pre-Chorus: Justin Bieber]
Say go through the darkest of days
[Justin]
Heaven's a heartbreak away
(Never let you go, never let me down...)
Oh it's been a hell of a ride
Driving the edge of a knife
(Never let you go, never let me down...)

Don't you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won't give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Don't you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won't give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Oh baby, baby...

Don't fall asleep
At the wheel, we've got a million miles ahead of us
Miles ahead of us
All we need
Is a rude awakening to know we're good enough
Know we're good enough

Say go through the darkest of days
Heaven's a heartbreak away
Never let you go, never let me down!
Oh it's been a hell of a ride
Driving the edge of a knife
Never let you go, never let me down!

Don't you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won't give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Don't you give up, nah, nah, nah
I won't give up, nah, nah, nah
Let me love you
Let me love you
Oh baby, baby...)

While Joel is a legend, Milli Vanilli was infamously stripped of its 1990 best new artist Grammy Award. Still, for much of 1989, the duo dominated, with its album topping the Billboard 200 for seven weeks and yielding five top five Hot 100 hits, including three No. 1s. (And,"Rain" was written by the renowned Diane Warren.

I am personally not a fan of this genre. I feel this music can be made by anyone and they just plug people into songs to make them famous. We are in the time where there are few honest musicians and performers who do their own work.

Goes to show you that image is everything. He was able to clean up his act and even though he is making the same music he has shot up the charts. The industry is all about how people feel about you at the time.

His Major Lazer collaboration 'Cold Water' is on course to retain the No.1 spot for a fourth week, so far fending off competition from himself with DJ Snake collaboration 'Let Me Love You' by 3,000 combined sales.

Rap ruled the early '00s, and two of the genre's biggest stars doubled up at Nos. 1 and 2 on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 for those two weeks. Those charts mark the last time until Adele and Bieber (a span of 13-and-a-half years) that two acts held the top spots on the surveys for multiple weeks.
