Melo pushed Lin out of NYC due to his ego. He couldn't have people stealing the spotlight or work together as a team. They were awesome in Melo's absence. The Knicks suck right now anyway.

Thank you for helping the hornets get back to the playoffs. You became one of my favorite players this year. Keep winning on and off the court, and being a light in the darkness. I bless you with health, joy and a great rest of your career, in Jesus' name!

To me you are the best point guard that houston has had in tge las 15 years. I hate what my rockets did to you. Good thing happen to those that have a good heart. Keep living the dream for those that couldn't. #7 belongs to Lin not Melo!

Lin's popularity internationally and in the U.S. is undeniable and with the Nets in full rebuild mode, he will instantly become the face of the franchise. Yes, Brook Lopez is the best player on the Nets but Lin is the more popular name, easily recognizable for the casual fan. Plus with Brooklyn recently waiving Jarrett Jack, Lin will likely be the starting point guard, so he will have a major role on the Nets. Coupled with his reputation in New York, thanks to Insanity, the Nets will surely capitalize on Lin's popularity.
