This video explains this theory perfectly; so much so that it eliminates the possibility of a counter-argument.

I agree. It only takes a tad bit of logic to realise the purpose of religion, and why people cling onto something that is purely based on faith and not empirical evidence. The Greeks and Romans, and every other nation did it too, yet we see that as Mythology while still holding religion as fact.

The existence of God and the Bible is not an imagination.

God does exist, otherwise how would you explain our mere existence?

Religion is a powerful thing if you have a strong faith. It makes things better.

I believe so. Religion always makes things better or it's God's will and they have to accept.

Sometimes things just happen. If they have a strong faith then they would automatically assume it was because of religion.

They always use religion as an excuse to justify things whether it's good or bad.

It does help that religion is usually used to explain things.People will feel better and be less depressed because it's God's will.

Now there's a scientific explanation for everything. They can't use religion as a valid reason now.

In most cases during the ancient times, yes. They didn't really have much to go with but religion.

It is effective so why stop doing it? Using religion for everything is so primitive but if it helps people feel better, then go ahead.

When there were no scientific explanations, people were content to think it's religion. It was the easiest reason to think of.

I'd rather believe facts and science when things happen. Religion is very vague and people don't even know if it's real or not.

Before, yes. Now not anymore. We're too smart to accept religion as the basis for what's happening.

If you can't explain something, your usual go-to excuse would be religion. That way, nobody argues with you.

It usually is if you can't explain something. If you say it's a miracle, people just accept that.
