This is great news. Now there will be less traffic casualties as there will be less people chasing pokemon around busy streets. I knew the fad wouldn't last long.

Pokemon Go's Daily Active Users (DAUs) - an industry metric that determines how many people switch on an app each day - suggested that the game edged close to 45 million users on 17 July. By 16 August, that figure fell to just above 30 million.

I think it may be due to the changing weather. This was fun for the summer but not any more.

The app has problems loading due to heavy traffic. People just lost interest in it because it's just pointless. All that walking and exercise did pay off while it was at its peak.
