If the smell of perfume makes you nauseous, you need to read this.

I also have sensitivity to many things. My office has a variety of"aromas" including hand lotions, flavored coffee and sandwiches with onions. They have no consideration for others.

I’ve never dealt with this until I got pregnant, so if this is you all of the time I truly feel for you

I too have a problem with certain scents, pefumes, cleaning products etc. It is not fun and people think you are crazy.

I'm not like this all the time but when I was pregnant it was insane. Someone smoking a cigarette a block down the street could make me almost throw up and I had to plug my nose if there was a lady with perfume in the store with me. Or a neighbor doing laundry with strongly scented products would make me gag. So much sympathy for the people who go through this all the time. I wish people would chill out with all the strong scents.

Thank you for this. I thought I was alone in this. I have trouble hugging my daughter because of her perfume. Can't deal with anything dried with a drier sheet. Migraine and nausea follow.

Wow, sounds like me. I feel lucky in that many of my friends and family realize I need to live scent free to be able to keep asthma attacks down. Some hotels are the worst with their room sprays. Cannot walk by perfume counters, or enter stores with scented candles, tire shops, bicycle shops (tires), tea tree oil atomizers, etc. my asthma slams my throat shut so I can cough out but not get air in. In seconds after certain smells I can start coughing and hacking like a ten pack a day smoker. I went Keto due to this and it seems like my symptoms are lessening to some extent. I just want to breathe.

I don’t have MCS, but all perfumes and a lot of other scented products can give me an almost instant migraine. I especially can’t handle anything floral scented. I’m very selective about the kind of soap, detergent, lotions, hair products, etc. I use in my household. Some people brush me off and think it’s no big deal, but it is a very big deal to me. I wish more people could understand.

This is me hands down! People don’t understand, and it’s awful to deal with. So glad to see I’m not the only “crazy” one out there!

I have a case of this. Especially with cleaning products. Beauty products with imitated floral scents

Omg I also thought it was just me. I’m not crazy either! Spray paint, finger nail polish remover, bleach, etc... They give me a headache, cough, and take my voice away! If only people could understand!
