The African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa is a shiny spaceship-like structure that glistens in the afternoon sun.

With its accompanying skyscraper, it stands out in the Ethiopian capital.

Greetings in Mandarin welcome visitors as they enter the lifts, and the plastic palm trees bear the logos of the China Development Bank.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/Huawei?ocid=socialflow_facebook&ns_source=facebook&ns_campaign=bbcnews&ns_mchannel=social&fbclid=IwAR38PHCgapGksT2W-h9ARvbX_PiiZ_Tgk1F6wSAiODyBpyGoIsr8izQ7SHI

Huawei is a controversial company across the globe because of the smartphones they are making plus the fraud related to its alleged evasion of US sanctions against Iran.

Every product they make is a copy of something. In telecom it's the worst company..no working culture, too much politics, salary a bit high but proportionally too many responsibilities. Also spying on employees...involved in all sorts of illegal activities. Simply a hell for employees other than Chinese.

True. But isn't the Huawei products very popular in Taiwan? It seems that the more Taiwan's government warn about the risk of Huawei, the longer the queue of customers outside Huawei's Taiwan flagship store!

Admit Taiwan is part of China that's why it was expelled from UN in 1971.

Strange, the Taiwanese government has been saying the opposite for the last 80 years.

But China says that everything belongs to China. Anyone who disagrees is attacking world peace!

Because Huawei defrauds consumers, specifically uses bad-performance phone to sell very high prices.

Yeah. Huawei P8 and Mate S, which cost pretty high, only have eMMC4.5 Flash Memory, Kirin 935, only 11n WLAN, and screen with big black side. The price for P8 in China is about ¥3288, which is more than $500. For Mate S, the price is ¥4199, about $660.

Compare to other smartphones, Meizu m1 metal, which only costs ¥1099($170), have MT6795(helio X10), multi-color all-metal body, eMMC5.0 16G/32G Flash Memory, up to 0.48s fingerprint sensor, and 2.5D screen.
