The building's developer, Millennium Partners, insists the building is safe for occupancy and could withstand an earthquake." Sure.. until it falls over.. then"We don't recall ever saying the building is safe.

No doubt the ego's of the people living there are bigger, albeit heavier, then the architect imagined. Have to offload some ego's to stop the sinking......

The Sentinel-1 satellites have shown that the Millennium Tower skyscraper in the center of San Francisco is sinking by a few centimeters a year," a statement by the ESA concludes."Studying the city is helping scientists to improve the monitoring of urban ground movements, particularly for subsidence hot spots in Europe.
