Kathrine Switzer turned into a legend of the ladies' rights development in 1967 after she formally finished the then all-male race. Having enrolled under the name KV Switzer, her sexual orientation went unnoticed by authorities toward the begin line, yet a couple of miles in she was assaulted by a furious authority who attempted to force her off the course making a persevering picture of ladies' rights history.
