I would love to believe that Elvis is still alive but cannot come up with a reason why someone would be hiding him for this long. In today's world of technology and facial recognition if Elvis was alive I think we would have some definitive pictures and also audio of him living a day to day life somewhere.

This dude, calling himself Orion, emerged in 1978. He looked almost exactly like Elvis but wore a simple mask. Also, he sounded almost exactly like Elvis and this was enough to convince a lot of people that he was Elvis. In fact, his name was Jimmy Ellis, and he was a talented musician in his own right. He recorded eleven albums both as Orion and as Jimmy Ellis, and died in the mid-1990s during a robbery at a pawn shop he owned with his wife. There are story after story of people saying someone else is Elvis. I think sadly Elvis is gone people.

The death hit millions of fans had and many just could not believe Elvis was really dead. It was rumored that a wax figure resembling Presley was used during the funeral viewing. Another crazy theory revealed some claimed that Elvis was heavily drugged and was just appearing to be dead, but was seen by fans sweating inside his casket.

If Elvis is alive and he has not put out another tape I am going to be very angry. I hate that I was born after his time and missed out on all the great musicians who made music what it is today. They Hendrix may be still alive also when they get together and do a duet then I will believe it.

The answer is a resounding no. There are no facts to support the theory that Elvis faked his death, and the debate itself is not valid. It is time to set the record straight and properly frame the issue because this faulty debate has gone on far too long. Many Elvis fans are tired of it, the tabloids seem to have become tired of it, and certainly the Presley family has heard enough about it.

There are many reasons to believe that Elvis Presley is dead. When the only arguments to believe otherwise come from crazed fans and supermarket tabloids, it is easy to dismiss the possibility that the King is still among us. However, the circumstances surrounding Elvis's alleged death are quite mysterious and beg closer attention. As it turns out, there are many concrete reasons to believe that the King is still alive.

People just cannot let go sometimes. Just the thought that he might be out there is keeping someone's spirits up in this world. When everything does not fit the way people want it to they always say there is another ending that we don't know about.

The rockabilly renegade died at his Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1977, reportedly from a drug-induced cardiac arrhythmia, but many believe this isn’t the whole story. The autopsy report was sealed by the King’s father, Vernon Presley, until 2027 (on the 50-year anniversary of his death). In 2010, his friend and former personal physician, Dr. George Nichopoulous, said he believed chronic constipation, not a cardiac arrhythmia, is what dethroned the King

When a beloved celebrity dies, it is difficult to accept, especially for super fans.

Elvis was examined by a coroner, a death certificate was signed and a funeral was held.

It's the story that won't go away. Did Elvis Presley fake his own death? Many people think so, including Gail Brewer Giorgio. Gail is the author of the best-selling book, Is Elvis Alive? and the newly released follow-up to that book - The Elvis Files.

It had been rumored that he had died from a drug overdose. It is a well known and documented fact that Elvis had always been a strong believer and fighter against communism and drug use. In a meeting with President Richard Nixon on December 20, 1970, Elvis stated his true feelings against drugs and communism, believing that the two were definitely related. At that time, the President appointed him to be a Special Agent in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (now known as the Drug Enforcement Agency or DEA). What a perfect way to stage his escape from the limelight and publicity to move into undercover activities to prevent the use of drugs, than to say that he had died from the use of drugs.

People just don't want to let this man rest in peace. He is forever gone people. Elvis was a very big personality who spoke out about alot of things he believed in. If he was alive there is no way he would be silent for so long that would kill him again.

Alivers allege that because Elvis spelled his middle name with a single A (Aron), the misspelling of the name (as Aaron) on the gravestone has sinister implications. It’s true that Elvis spelled his middle name with a single A, as there are numerous examples of his signature where he signs the name “Elvis Aron Presley.” Later in his life, he supposedly wanted to change the spelling to the double-A version, and his estate offers a reasonable explanation for the double-A spelling on the gravestone.

We should just ask him family who they lowered in the ground that would be a simple solution. If they say that he is dead then he is gone forever.

Later that night there was a press conference in which medical examiner Dr. Jerry Francisco indicated that the cause of death was ‘cardiac arrhythmia,’ noting that, ‘There was severe cardiovascular disease present.’ Despite the finality of such a statement many Presley fans still refuse to this day to believe that Elvis really did die. Many believe that he lived on for many more years in hiding and that he may still be alive even now.

I am not on this bandwagon. I think Elvis as great as he was, is dead. If he were alive it would be easy to prove by following the money from his estate. He had tremendous amounts of money he would want to find a way to make that available to himself.
