I used to put everything in my credit cards but I was not smart enough to budget and handle my finances well. I went beyond what I can afford. My credit ratings was fucked up. Then after settling everything for quite sometimes, I decided to use cash instead. That way, I can make sure that I am not spending beyond my means.

I am using both. Using credit cards takes a lot of discipline though.

It comes handy to have both.

Many people also use these cards to pay monthly bills, insurance premiums etc. Besides being convenient, there are other benefits of using credit cards too. 1) Cash back: Many banks offer cash back opportunities if you use your card to pay monthly bills or for grocery purchases. Never use your debt card to make a purchase, but rather always use a credit card.

Agree. Take advantage of the perks but don't forget to pay on time. ;)

I don't usually use my credit card when buying stuff, not unless it is a big purchase that I will make.

I use credit cards quite a lot. I have money but it's just around 50 bucks. I've gotten used to paying with my credit card.

Cash. I've learned my lesson from using my credit card too much. I finished paying off my credit card debts and I have no plans of being in debt again.

I use both. I only use my credit card if my cash isn't enough. I do have to track my spending on my credit card closely though.

Card. I rarely have enough cash with me. Why bring cash when you have credit cards? They're the same.

I use cash. My credit card is usually just for emergency. I might end up using more than I should if I rely on my credit cards too much.

Credit cards are more convenient for me. I also do a lot of online shopping so it works well for me.

I use cash. With cash, I can easily control and track my spendings. Credit cards can be dangerous if you spend more than you should. The interest will bury you.

I use both. It's okay to use credit cards as long as you pay them on time. I pay in full so I don't pay for any other bank fees or interests.

I use my credit card a lot. I'm in so much debt because of uncontrollable spending.

Cards. It doesn't make any difference as long as you pay them in full and on time. You also earn points when you use your credit cards.
