Nope. its the last thing I want to do when I get out of bed. If it's really messy I might make it before I go to bed.

Ofcourse. My mother taught us that making the bed was the first thing you did after getting out of bed.

Yes. The day does not go the same if I do not make my bed.

Yes I do. I remember getting hit in the head by mom when I was younger and I know it is automatic.

Do you recall how you feel when you stay at a hotel? You enter the room and it’s tidy. Right away your mood elevates and you look forward to climbing into the crisply made bed. You can create this mood and setting at home everyday!

The bugs are happiest in a warm, moist environment (like one you're in while you get your zzzzzs), and are more likely to die off when that environment changes (and you leave). Keeping the sheets wide open helps in their demise.

I was a hard core bed maker until you posted this. I will have to read the studies and find a new routine. Seems like the best thing would be to fold up your sheets everyday and leave the bed wide open.

Mites can be a factor in triggering asthma, too; fewer mites means fewer triggers. But as Professor Andrew Wardlaw of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology noted, most homes are humid enough that they're going to thrive regardless.
