Not at all. Why should my personal life be the business of the company? Unless it prevents me from doing my job efficiently, I don't see why it should determine whether I get the job or not?

It is okay with me.

Employers just want to make sure that they are not hiring a drug addict, etc. It is reasonable and it is fine with me.

Not a problem.

I'd do the same if I was an employer. I wouldn't want an addict to come work for me.

I think it's SOP to have this. It shouldn't be big deal if you're not hiding anything.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's harmless and companies just want to make sure you're stable.

I don't think it's unnecessary. They have character references so they'd know what you're like anyway.

It's okay. It's a safety precaution for employers and totally understandable.

I think it's okay. Employers need to protect themselves from hiring unstable employees. Drug history is always an issue.

I approve of this. People would consent to this to be honest to their employers. It's just making sure that the person you're gonna get is dependable.

I don't see why this should be a problem. It's just a standard medical for a job.

I don't think this is needed. They should just check for the standard blood check and that's it. This is invasion of privacy.

I hope they stop the drug testing. It's just added expense for the company. Some drugs get flushed out of the system in a few hours.

It's okay. It's part of checking your background so it's fine. They just need to make sure you're not a drug user.

Host
Yes. It should be compulsory so you know if someone is shady or not.

I don't see the point in this. If I was taking something, I would just cancel the testing to get the drugs to clear my system.

Most companies have this so it's fine. I think it's part of the process. No biggie.

I have nothing against it. Employers do have a reason for implementing it.

It's useless. People know the tricks to get the drugs to not show in these tests. They'll cheat their way to it.
