Days after talking to Dave Rubin on the Rubin Report, he announced he is leaving the March for our Lives movement for gun control. Dave pointed out to Cameron which he echoed, that the people in March for our Lives were conceptually opposed him, as they clearly want very strict gun regulation, and he would like to 'concealed carry' when he has a family- he is more after an assault rifle ban.

Cameron Kasky seems to be very nuanced in his thinking, especially for such a young kid, he is Gen Z after all not even a millenial as he said in the interview. Do you think he is headed down a political route for the democrats or is it possible a young mind like this could be a new addition to the IDW.

This guy is barely out of high school. He seems bright but he isn't a prodigy like Ben Shapiro, I think the IDW should be reserved for the big guns.

I think this idea of being invited to the IDW and it being kept for an exclusive elite is not going to last. Everyone that follows the IDW wants to and pretty much thinks they are part of it. Just like the normal dark web, it's not controlled by anyone. I don't think the IDW will be controlled by its leaders for much longer. The IDW leaders are great minds but they are just the leaders, I think they should just welcome all their followers to be part of the IDW- and I think whether they do or don't, pretty soon many people will call themselves part of the IDW and just refer to these guys as the leaders

That's a very interesting point. I very much agree. So do you think that Cameron Kasky has become aligned with IDW thinking and moving away from the SJW regressive crowd - or do you think he has just learnt and become a more sophisticated politician. It appears he does have a natural talent for politics.

Well he has an autistic brother so maybe that gives him more perspective than the hyper-political ones like David Hogg.

Like Dave said in this discussion with Cameron, David Hogg made conversation between right and left even less likely, but telling the right they were in favor of killing kids, if they were not for gun-control. After you say something like that its clear there is no room to hear the other points side and then its just power games.

Cameron Kasky and David Hogg aren't necessarily the same, they are both politically savvy, but Cameron has obviously left the movement for a reason. I think he is saying conversation should happen, and the movement is not good for conversation. I think he has realized the 'road to hell' is paved with good intentions, and this discussion with Dave helped him realize it.
