Trump is no stranger to the anti-vaccine movement

Trump... It is not clear how any views he holds on vaccination might influence his appointments or administration policies

Why is a position for VACCINE SAFETY making everyone so upset? I'm quite positive the goal of this position is not going to be to tell parents NOT to vaccinate, but to ensure vaccines are made with the safest ingredients and administered safely and on an appropriate schedule! Why anyone would be angry about more testing being done to either prove or disprove a link to autism (or any other health problems) is beyond me. Wouldn't you like to end this debate once and for all? Vaccines are not subjected to double-blind placebo controlled studies using a saline solution which is the standard for evidence-based medicine. There are no studies of vaccinated vs unvaccinated. More testing and scientific evidence is being viewed as a bad thing, which honestly scares me more than the vaccinated/unvaccinated debate. ????

American, Spanish, and Italian courts have awarded money to children who have been diagnosed with autism as a result of vaccine injury. You won't hear about it on the news, but it is a reality!

the man who claimed vaccines cause autism got his medical liscence taken away and was DEBUNKED, but even if he hadn't, i'd much rather my child have autism and not polio (or measles or whatever else, don't make this about polio) something that can actually painfully kill them i can't imagine being so scared of your child being different that you'd risk their health and life over how their brain functions

Even if they did...i love my ausome son just how he is....alive

My daughter is completely vaccinated and does not have autism. Not that I believe in putting unnecessary substances in ones body, but I'd rather have my child alive (and the other children she comes in contact with) than worry about autism. Very likely your child would have been autistic without the vaccines...

So I hear all these parents coming forward saying there kids got autism from vaccines. I actually know someone who has multiple children who are diagnosed non verbal. Who have never recieved a vaccine. My son has had autism from birth. My doctor tells me it's the genes I brought to the table. That they can test for it in his genes. And even find the problem in his brain. I can tell her it runs in family members. I say if you want to risk it. Go ahead and we can debunk this once and for all with no arguments. I am not going to argue with anyone. I know from from a team of docters, autisim support group and many psychiatric professionals. That when you stop vaccinating. The herd vaccinations don't work anymore. Kids will be sick. And there will still be autisic kids.

I commented this as a reply to someone, but I'll say it here on the main thread. Someone claimed that if vaccines worked, how would an unvaccinated child, place another child at risk?"How would an unvaccinated child place another at risk? How about the children too young to have certain vaccines, or ones unable to get them? Americans are like spoiled children. Even potentially life-saving vaccinations are not good enough for little Snowflake. ???? Try pedaling this crap to people in other countries who don't have the luxury to opt out because their parents think science is wrong and vaccinations cause autism. News flash, it doesn't, and even if it did, would that really be worse than potentially losing your child to a preventable illness?" Footnote: Yes, I am aware children have died from vaccine related injuries, which are incredibly rare, unlike the diseases they prevent.

This is very simple.....if you're for vaccinating, great. If you're not....great. Just remember, any outcome of your decision is on you. Do not turn around and put it on the doctors, nurses or anyone else. More research couldn't hurt. However, my children will continue to receive their vaccinations on schedule because I believe in their effectiveness.

Seriously?? Still this debate? And over an almost 3 year old tweet? Follow the scientific evidence. The rise in autism is linked to a rise in diagnosis. Today they are better able to test children and properly able to diagnose them than they were able 10 years ago. Also, the autism spectrum has expanded to include many things that weren't considered"autism" before.

All 3 of my children are vaccinated, no autism. I would rather have them alive than dead from an illness that is preventable. My mom had Polio as a child, and she still has problems.

Autism is a disorder passed through your genes, not vaccinations. My mom's side of the family has 2 cases of it and my brothers have it. So.... The whole thing doesn't even remotely make sense there was even proof in a few articles about how the doctor that said vaccines cause autism blatantly lied. He just wanted to cause an uprising about vaccines.

If vaccines weren't harmful, drug companies would still be accountable for vaccine damages. The drug companies are no longer held responsible nor punished for injuries so there definitely needs to be some review to how vaccines are manufactured and administered.

Anyone that thinks vaccines cause autism is just plain wrong. Even if they did, which they do not, how dare you think that autism is worse than a deadly disease that could not only kill your child but someone else's.

Im not anti vaccine but I recommend you all watch the documentary called Vaxxed. Huge eye opener.

Vaccines are bad. It was already publicly announced by some of the scientists that make them. How else do you keep a people sick and in need of care but to make them sick.

Trump has participated in his immunization wariness with unforeseen partners like the Green Party's Jill Stein. She loaned assurance to connivance scholars who see immunization crusades as a plan imagined by benefit hungry organizations.

It is anything but difficult to see, as exhibited by this elusive occasion, how effortlessly garbage science can be brought into standard thought, and favored even accidentally by officialdom.
