From what people tell me, it builds strength, balance, agility and endurance. I'd try it but I have a thing with heights.

There are no negative consequences, or hinder in growth as a person, if you decide to take up climbing as sport, or extramural activity in your life. It is good for every part of your body, improves agility and balance, as well as concentration, and efficient methods of logical thinking.

I have been wanting to start for ages now! Apparently, it is the best workout possible for your body!
