To be sure, Chinese authorities do often intervene strongly in various ways. In the foreign exchange market, the People's Bank of China intervened heavily

Well the almost invasion of Russia by NATO who got 2700 more US troops traveling through Poland to the Russian border makes it a little difficult for Donald Trump to only talk tough and carry that big stick. Russia and China are allies. What a bunch of douche bags the Obama administration is

Mr. Trump needs to slap import duties on everything made in China, Mexico, Bangladesh, and other low wage countries, and tax the crap out of companies outsourcing American jobs...

Dont Back Down to China... Stand firm... this is the only way China will understand.. Even if it threatens to retaliate.. stand firm.. Keep our allies in Japan S Korea Taiwan and rest of the region alert and ready.. harden defenses.. China will yell cry complain.. Regardless, stand firm.. give it an inch and it will take a yard...China really is a totalitarian state.. violates all kinds of international norms and rules..America must not waiver...

Trump should be more concerned with Congress being the ultimate currency manipulators. Our fiat / debt based economy is a time bomb waiting to blow.

I would say all decisions should be put on hold until we figure out what's going on here. Who knows if this is trump or Putin making the decisions.

He didn't say he won't. Just not on day 1. Talking with them first seems pretty reasonable to me.

I think it's a good idea to talk to them first. Let them know exactly what will happen on our side, give them a chance to change course. THEN, if they continue, do what has been said will be done.

Trump has already labeled them as Currency Manipulators. Punitive action will follow according to his plan and timing. He's walking back nothing... Don't be obtuse.

Knowing Trump, he has a very good reason for saying this--if this article is true.

Trump's Right, China Is A Currency Manipulator - But They're Manipulating The Yuan Up. Donald Trump has been telling us all for a long time now that China is a currency manipulator.

Donald Trump has been letting us know just for quite a while now that China is a cash controller. It's a piece of his arrangement for his initial 100 days in office to get on with ensuring that China is legitimately pronounced to be such a money controller and subsequently begin the way toward making a move.
