Capitalism is undemocratic, and monopolistic. It has ravaged the environment, destroyed societal morals, replaced god with the dollar and destroyed the lives of millions

I do not think capitalism is sustainable at all. One has to also look at the ecological costs of capitalism. The necessity to acquire natural resources will constantly perpetuate the destruction of the planet. You see this with the Amazon, Arctic glaciers, drought, etc. Capitalism also requires the availability of work. In this new age of technology and information, most people are relegated to customer service jobs, where machines, which are better equipped, are placed in jobs that once needed people. In this case, the wealth inequality becomes much greater. Capitalism also demands that in order to acquire wealth, it must be at the expense of others. Therefore individuals, who do not produce wealth, nor can be used as a mode of production, become expendable. In essence, the capitalist values monetary gain much higher than that of human life. If that does not bother the capitalist morally, than the fact that an unsettled individual turning into a group should; how revolutions occur.

I think the idea of capitalism is great. I do think there is a level of wealth that you can only be born into but everything has it's limitations. The fact that you can come from a dirt poor family and not only live a decent life but thrive and have abundance is wonderful.

Capitalism like anything else can be implemented poorly. I think that the concept is good also but the people who implemented it did not have the people at the bottom in mind at all. Although some do make it the percentages are low.

If you don't like capitalism you should move to another country. I believe everyone in this nation has the chance to succeed. Capitalism is brutal sometimes but that's good competition. No one said it was easy to climb to the top. The important part is to get the chance to climb.

Being born and educated in American I love capitalism. I do understand and see the flaws in the system but capitalism is the American way. Everyone is told when they are born you can be whatever you want to be in America. Even kids in other countries are told that.
