Aang had to struggle by himself(ish) to learn everything, and still became awesome and had gained spiritbending. Korra was trained by the best of the best, she had no need to struggle.

Watsonianally, Korra took down the Equalists even after losing her powers, and UnaVaatu even without Raava, and then the Red Lotus while poisoned. She also does pro-bending pretty well, which is cool. Oh, and finally, she takes down Kuvira, but by talking her down, which is pretty impressive. She also makes her mark on the world what with opening the spirit portals and stuff. Doylianally, she has had to go through a lot; her arc with the poison and fear is very good, though maybe not as good as Zuko's. Her loss of connection to the past avatars is a big deal and interesting. I don't think there's much to definitively put Aang above Korra.

They're about equal

Aang was a better person, he was always careful towards others feelings, Korra always rushed in head first and refused to apologies.

Aang is a serious and funny kid with different kind of emotions.

Experience and patience are valuable in a fight, Aang is extremely level headed and more in touch with his spirituality whereas Korra fights with her emotions which can mean she is immature and has clouded judgement. Although she can metal bend and has the advantage there, Aang has better mastery of all the elements as a whole (especially since Korra is weak with air bending) and I think he would win it by fighting smarter and due to him being more skilled overall.

Aang is better than Korra.

I think Aang is the best.
