As with anything situation in life they should let the people vote and live the way they want to live. Women are all different and having one blanket law over how they conduct actions agaisnt their own body seem wrong to me.

this is a very touchy subject, for me it comes down to a complex puzzle of circumstances. If someone is considering abortion it's probably for a very good reason.

It constantly amazes me that the majority of people who are against abortion are men. An entire gender who will never be in a position where an abortion is something they need to consider.

If you don't agree with abortion great! Dont get one.

I however am not willing to sacrifice my life for a child I do not plan to have. I will not be able to provide the best life for them so until I am ready I am/will take all the precautions necessary to avoid forcing a child to live in poverty

In Queensland, abortion is generally regarded as lawful if performed to prevent serious danger to the woman’s physical or mental health, despite abortion being contained in the Criminal Code. Women and doctors can be criminally prosecuted for unlawfully accessing or providing abortion.

Abortion has been illegal in Queensland since 1899, however there is a court precedent from 1986 which allows abortions when there is a risk to the mother's life or health.
