It is already hard to hold our breaths for long but one artist proves she can do more than just holding her breath underwater. French filmmaker, deep-sea diver and dancer, Julie Gautier made the impossible by dancing for 6 whole minutes in the world’s deepest pool.

Known as ‘The Deep Joy’ pool, the deepest pool on earth is 131 ft in depth. The short film, both directed and performed by Julie Gautier, was filmed in this location at Padua, Italy.

This cannot be real the video was obviously not shot at one go for 6 whole minutes. It’s edited. It’s still amazingly beautiful though. The artist’s performance is so poignantly beautiful. Kudos

The world record is 22 minutes so if she trained for it 6 minutes is definitely possible.

This is amazing. Guys I know it's not believable that some one could hold breath that long, but deep diving without oxygen is an extreme sports.

It's a shame they didn't give the cameramen any credit for holding their breaths too.

I mean that’s definitely not safe considering her brain needs oxygen to survive and after 4 minutes of no oxygen her mental status would starts to alter.

Deep free divers go for ten minutes. They train their bodies for that.

Regardless of free divers skills, this dancer was taking opportunity for a breath of air during the 6 min performance. She got air both from the scuba team and from the surface.
