I think they are at a disadvantage when they are not in their home countries.

I would agree. When I visit a foreign country, people would often be rude to me.

I think there are some cities that are more progressive than some so I don't think all cities put minorities at a disadvantage. In India, sometimes I feel Indians are more at a disadvantage instead of the minorities.

I agree. I have noticed in developing countries that they give preference to white people

Yes, people are really biased against people who are different.

This is an unfortunate thing but it does happen. In some country they are even biased against their own culture. I have Filipino friends who are ashamed to be associated with the Philippines or their race. It's a shame though.

As a Hispanic living in America, I feel this everyday. If I don't dress up, people usually assume I am a janitor or a security guard. I don't know why. People should know better nowadays but I guess it has made us more ignorant.

Discriminated against, sure, but not disadvantaged. The problems towards minorities are societal, not legal, economical, or from the State. Therefore, minorities are not disadvantaged within communities, they are simply not accepted by certain individuals within those communities. It is important that there is a distinction between those two points.

In Europe, this is not so prevalent so I am thankful for that but I have seen some level of discrimination against minorities.

I have heard stories from friends and the struggle is real. I feel bad for them for having go through with those in this day and age.

Being Asian, I experience this a lot especially outside of Asia. It's a bit discerning but I am used to it.

I believe so. I feel it when I travel. People look down on us Indians.
