Some people will say that animals are worth less than humans so testing is good as, long as it saves lives, I would say it is good with regulations, if not for the fact that these medications are so overpriced than no one can afford it so no it doesn't save lives, except maybe rich people but rich people already have access to medical help, not necessary. In addition animals have rights, they may not be made in the image of G-d like us humans but they were still made by G-d so they deserve some level of respect.

Look at this practically. Humans have the power. Animals do not. We may enjoy loving animals at times such as pets. But the fact is humans are at the top of the hierarchy.

Animals should be protected to a certain extent. To what extent is up for debate

Trivial issue, but I do not support animal rights based on the colloquial definition (i.e. giving them equal, or similar, rights to human beings).

I appreciate animals and I value their conscious experience, but considering I'm not a vegan or at least vegetarian, I'm not so sure how highly I place that value.

I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.
