Never been in one so I can't really compare. Looks like a lot of work.

It really depends on the two people involve in that kind of relationship. I believe that distance cannot really separate two heart that love each other so much.

Some of my friends found the love of their life online so that's make them in a long distance relationship. And to my surprise, their relationship is not affected by the distance between them. Some of them are already married and have their kids after years of being away from each other. Love is really powerful.

I would never go for a long distance relationship. It would be hard to maintain.

LDR is not for everybody. That's what I can say.

I think it sucks and it hard. I have never been in one and I don't want to be in one. It can be hard to stay committed when one of you is so far away.

Maybe the hardest part of any relationship is to be away with someone you really love and want to be close most of the time. But I believe that it can really be a successful relationship if both are working together to make it work, no matter how far they are from each other.

My wife and I had a hard time being away from each other when I was assigned abroad for more than a year. Though communication is constant and on a daily basis, I still long for her physical presence. It feels like seeing her would never be enough. But we overcame that challenge in our relationship and we are happy together again.

I admire those who are in this kind of relationship and ended up together.

I hate to be cynical but being away from each other isn't really a relationship. You can't get to really know someone.

I think it's hard to be in one. Both individuals would have to be really committed and mature to handle this challenge.

I have friends who made it work but I doubt I would ever go for a long distance relationship. Too complicated.

In my opinion, this relationship is actually challenging for both parties. Can their love really cross the distance between them? I think yes for some but not for everybody. My best friend caught his boyfriend having an affair with someone else and his boyfriend told her that he can't handle LDR anymore.
