Joining a company as an intern gives you the opportunity to work hands-on in a professional environment. It gives you the real world experience.

Of course it is. I enjoyed my internship because I have learned a lot from them that I'm still using on my job after I graduated.

Yeah. It will not be required if not.

Oh yes! This is especially helpful for college students so they'll get a feel for the work they will be doing once they graduate.

It is useful and helpful to prepare graduating students to have the feel and actual experience of what they will do in the near future.

No, I think most companies exploit interns and let them do all the dirty job that nobody else wants to do.

Internships gave me the opportunity to attend meetings and events. By interacting with professionals I gained new connections and learned how to communicate in a professional environment.

I'd love to work with a big company. I'm gonna learn a lot and it'll look good on my resume.

I interned before and I learned to make great coffee. Pretty stupid!

I had an intern in a foreign company and I was assigned in the HR department. I have learned a lot from that experience because they have allowed me to do what the regular employees that they have. I never felt that I am just an intern. I had an actual practice and application of everything.

Yes, of course. It also serves as your training ground before doing the real job.

Yes. It will always be useful for me. When I had my internship, I really took the chance to do almost everything around the office, from photocopying to even serving coffee to the staff. You will learn a lot about yourself and what you are capable of.
